This unique and amazingly well handcrafted Edwardian soutoir, from ca.1910 is a piece of most wearable art. The center piece, a disc of carved jade is bezel-set in a platinum frame with fine milligrain around the top. In the center of the jade a bright white and lively Old European cut diamond is as well set in a bezel of platinum, with 3 tiny round diamonds spread around the perimeter. The entire frame is set with small rose cut diamonds and 4 oriental pearls on its corner. Extended from this are 2 platinum flexible link chains with small white seed pearls which hold a cone shaped polished piece of jade, each. From the top of this pendant, 2 platinum and seed pearl flexible link chains extend to form this gorgeous soutoir necklace, measuring 17 inches in length. This one of a kind piece of historic jewelry is a true collectible.
