Art Deco Old European Cut Diamond Platinum Ear Pendants

Beautifully designed and masterfully handcrafted in platinum, these wonderful ear pendants from ca 1925 exemplify the creativity of the Art Deco era. The bottom pendants of this earring have the typical geometric look with beautiful a-jour work and mill grain on the top of each fine bar separating the diamonds they are set into. This element has also been constructed with a slight curvature to create an authentic three-dimensional look. Flexible and attached to 6 bezel-set Old European cut diamonds, this earring dangles freely on the ear so that the diamonds' life, fire, and brilliance can be admired. The earring is secured by a screw-back ( which could be exchanged with a clip or post if one prefers). The total diamond weight has been estimated at approximately 3.90 carats with an average color of H to I. A wonderful piece of period jewelry with just the right weight to be worn comfortably for an extended amount of time.
