Cartier Platinum Yellow Gold Diamond Black Enamel Pendant Watch Necklace

This unique and wonderful Cartier Paris Pendant-Watch necklace was manufactured in ca. 1920 with the dial movement and case signed by Cartier. The original guilloche dial has enamel Roman numerals and fine enamel minute bars on the perimeter. The watch crystal is held within a delicate gold ring surrounded by one ring of shiny enamel and an outside ring of white enamel. The back side of the watch has a delicate ring of white enamel and a larger portion of black enamel with a center that is set with a beautiful rose-cut diamond, surrounded by tiny rose cuts and small dots of white enamel. The chain, consisting of elongated enamel links separated by tiny seed pearls, is attached to two platinum elements set with small rose-cut diamonds.
