Beautifully designed and masterfully handcrafted by the renowned Italian jeweler Bulgari, this 1980s " Trombino " ring is a magnificent piece of jewelry and a true collectible. The iconic " Trombino " ring was first designed by Bulgari in the 1930s and centrally set with various gemstones. With gem-quality bright white round brilliant cut diamonds set around the sides and down the shank of the ring, there is a distinct channel of baguette diamonds graduating in size in the center of each shank, which makes this most desirable model immediately recognizable. This unique " Trombino " ring is centrally set with an amazing deep blue, amazingly saturated cabochon sapphire, weighing 5.01 carats - the exact weight inscribed on the inside of the shank. To highlight the gorgeous center gemstone, it is bezel set in 18 karat yellow gold, and the bezel continues as a channel down the shanks, which hold the 8 perfectly matched baguette cut diamonds on either side. Embellishing, these are 52 perfectly matched bright white round brilliant cut diamonds pave set on either side. The inside of the shank is signed " BVULGARI", 5.01 cts, pt950 ( for platinum ), and AU750 ( for 18 karat gold ). Ring size 6.25 can be sized. The Trombino is translated to ‘little trumpet’ and is one of Bulgari’s most instantly recognizable and iconic designs. Undeniably eye-catching, the Trombino Bombé cluster was pioneering as it enabled the central impressive gemstone(s) to stand proud as the centerpiece. The broadly integrated shank of the Trombino design consists of grain set round diamonds with a graduated horizontally set row of baguette-cut diamonds. The shank of the Trombino ring was a broad band of pavé-set diamonds graduated to a horizontal line of baguette-cut diamonds down from the central gemstone.

Ring size 6.25 can be sized.
