Edwardian Colombian Cabochon Emerald Diamond Platinum Engagement Ring

Gorgeous Edwardian ca 1918 platinum emerald diamond engagement ring. Beautifully designed and masterfully handcrafted, this unique engagement ring features a luscious well, well-saturated forest green sugarloaf cabochon emerald with very good clarity. The emerald has been measured to weigh approximately 2.25 carats and is accompanied by a report from the GIA stating the origin as Colombian. The center gem is embellished by two perfectly matched Old European cut diamonds weighing approximately 0.60 carats each. The gallery of the ring, running down the shanks, is furthermore set with smaller, white, bright round old cut diamonds within beautiful ajour and milgrain work. The original owner must have taken excellent care of this lovely piece of art as it is in excellent condition. Ring size 6.25 can be sized.
