A rare and truly amazing Australian Lightning Ridge black opal is the centerpiece of this lovely handcrafted white gold diamond ring. The black opal weighing 4.89 carats is accompanied by a report from the AGL stating that this opal is natural with no enhancements and is from Australia. The report further states, "This opal displays a varied flash pattern, with dominant colors of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue." Being the rarest of colors in black opals, an abundance of red and orange shows across the top of this gem while moving it in the light. The unusual shape described in the AGL report as " Tabular Cabochon," with a completely flat top and belly showing the matrix of black opals beneath, gives this ring a truly one-of-a-kind unique look. Secured by double prongs, the gallery and shanks of this ring are embellished by bright white round brilliant cut diamonds. Ring size 6.5 can be sized.
