1980s French Gem Set Bracelet by Andre Vassort

Beautifully designed and masterfully handcrafted, renowned French jeweler Andre Vassort made this 1980s French bracelet. He is known to have designed and created many collections for Van Cleef & Arpels, Boucheron, and Mauboussin, later establishing himself with his firm, Gerard Paris. This bracelet exhibits his creativity in design and fine workmanship. It was made of 18 karat yellow gold and platinum, and this excellent piece of period jewelry displays a great contrast in color. Yellow granular elements are set within forest green emerald, deep blue sapphire cabochons, and bright white sparkly round brilliant cut diamonds. The approximate weights are 8.5 carats of diamonds, nine emeralds, and 12 sapphires. The tongue of the bracelet is stamped with the maker's mark of Andre Vassort along with the French assay marks for 18 karat gold and platinum.
