Antique Colombian No-Oil Emerald Old Mine Diamond Pendant Brooch

Beautifully designed and masterfully handcrafted in silver on gold, this gorgeous heart pendant/brooch from ca 1870 features a rare 2.98 carat natural Colombian no-oil emerald. Colombian emeralds are mostly treated with various degrees of oil to enhance clarity and color. This emerald belongs to the very small percentage of emeralds that require no enhancement. The vibrant color and crystal are purely magnificent, with bright, old-cut diamonds further embellishing this gem with an approximate total weight of 7 carats. A gem report from the AGL accompanies the emerald.
