This beautifully designed and masterfully hand-crafted Belle Epoque ring is pave-set with 21 perfectly matched bright white Old European Cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of the diamonds has been calculated at 3 carats. The elegant navette shape of the ring magically elongates any finger it is worn on. The diamonds are set in a platinum gallery that connects to the base and shank crafted out of 18-karat gold. The art of combining platinum and gold - two precious metals with different melting points - was common in this era but extremely hard to master. The shank is stamped with French hallmarks.
