Beautifully designed and masterfully handcrafted, this bangle bracelet by David Webb from ca 1980 displays a fun and colorful array of gemstones worked in platinum and 18 karat yellow gold. 2 cabochon rubies, 1 cabochon sapphire and 1 cabochon emerald are bezel set in 18 karat polished gold surrounded by pave set bright white and lively round brilliant cut diamonds, all in a heavy 18 karat polished bezel. A wonderful contrast of colors and most wearable piece of period jewelry. The inner circumference of the bangle is 6 inches and is opened by a flexible hinge, secured by a snap lock and outer omega latch. Stamped Webb, PLAT 18K on inner hinge plate.
