The earring is secured by a French omega clip back and a post can be added if desired. French hallmarks, markers mark and numbered on the clip-back. The emeralds are accompanied by reports from the GIA stating that they are natural with origin in Zambia. Zambian emerald mines were discovered in the 1920s but serious mining began in the 1970s and have been found to produce fine larger emerald crystals comparable in color and saturation to fine Columbian emeralds. Still undervalued, they are an investment in this size and quality. These fabulous earrings are stunning on every ear.
