Retro Smoky Quartz Citrine 18 Karat Two-Color Gold Brooch

This unique Retro brooch from ca 1945 was beautifully hand-crafted out 18 karat yellow gold and rose gold. The center piece is a perfectly cut golden-brown smoky quartz citrine step-cut which has been measured to weigh approximately 150 carats. The massive gem is securely held by 4 wide yellow gold prongs on each corner and rests on a artistically crafted gallery which is visible from the sides while wearing this brooch. The top of this brooch is embellished by a bow-tie also in yellow and rose gold, extending over the sides of the gemstone. This wonderful and most wearable piece of jewelry is secured by a double pin .
