Demantoid garnet is a rare, vivid green variety of the mineral andradite, prized for a high dispersion (fire) that exceeds even that of a diamond. First discovered in Russia's Ural Mountains in the 1850s, its name means "diamond-like" due to its exceptional brilliance. This bright, brilliant forest-green Demantoid is amazingly saturated and perfectly cut, with remarkable life and brilliance. Set in an 18-karat yellow gold hand-crafted mounting with pave-set Vivid Fancy Yellow diamonds, creating a wonderful contrast of colors. This ring is accompanied by a report from AGL stating that the Demantoid is natural, untreated, and originates from the Ural Mountains.
